Great food great atmosphere friendly staff

This may be the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at. The food was great with large portions, the atmosphere was pleasant and interesting (the unique painted booths are a nice touch), and the service was fast and friendly.

I moved up from Oklahoma 9 years ago and I would have to say it's the best authentic Mexican food I've had since I've been here!! It is well worth the 40 mile drive.

Excellent authentic Food..Huge portions..I highly recommend this quaint restaurant right off the main strip of Park Rapids! Beautiful inside! Love the hand carved wooden booths! Reasonable priced items..wont break the bank!

Never had a good experience. Just today my server spilled a bowl of salsa all over me and I wasn't given any discounts or anything else, he simply avoided our table the rest of the time. The time before that I asked for the guacamole appetizer and instead they brought a plate full of meat. Everytime I have asked for ingredients to be left out of my food, there has been no effort to keep them out. It may be the best Mexican restaurant in Park Rapids, but it's the worst restaurant I l've been to.

Dirty drinking glass and utensils. Food burnt. The staff was very friendly but poor cooking. Definitely like my Mexican in the cities better

I've only been here once, but based off that experience, it was great! Our service was good and our food excellent!

Service was good.....food came out fast once we ordered....my husband had the taco salad and loved the flavor.....I had the carna asada tacos which tasted good but the tortillas were a little cold also fell apart easy.....clean inside and out.....hard to notice from outside if you are not from the area....in a strip mall almost on a corner tucked away with a small sign on the building....overall the experience was good

A delightful surprise and authentic taste of Mexican food has finally made it's way to the northland. It is an extensive menu and a little Spanish language knowledge came in handy. Hand gestures and lots of smiles and pointing got us the food and fun for my mom and dad's 60th aniversary...

Everything as good; we had the molcajete for two and portions were enormous.

Absolutely authentic Mexican food and great prices. Turnover of employees is rather high so you're never able to build familiarity with anyone.

Portion sizes are massive, but the food is oh so good! The people are super friendly as well. Coming from AZ, I can vouch for the authenticity of the flavors. So so tasty!

This one is tough. The chips before the meal would have been a 10 if they were warm. We had steak and chicken “Dang I can’t remember what they are called” please see attached pictures. Beef was good chicken had a different flavor? Food presentation was very nice but The price was high for what you get. But the Margaritas are simply AMAZING one of the best if not the best one I have ever had WOW 5 stars all day on them.

The wait staff is really nice here. We were trying to find something gluten free for me to eat, but our waiter didn't quite understand what we meant. He went away for a bit and then came back with his phone open to a Google translate page. It was honestly just the sweetest thing. The food was delicious and I couldn't be happier with it! Definitely will be returning in the future.

Great food and prices. Great Service

Excellent food. Some of the wait staff may not understand you at all times but don't let that stop you from eating there. Best Mexican food north of Mexico and way more food than most people eat. The servings are generous and the chips and salsa served before you get your entree are great. I have heard the staff sing Happy birthday to people who are celebrating their birthday there. I thought that was pretty nice of them. Can't wait to go here again.

This is a total hidden gem. The people are very nice, attentive and accommodating. The food is extremely authentic and delicious. I would absolutely recommend and return.

Good food and margaritas!

I had the Carne Asada and it was delicious. Plus it was so much food with tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream on the side. I will have a good lunch (and maybe dinner, too) tomorrow!

Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was welcoming, colorful, comfortable. Food was authentic and we all enjoyed it.

Waited almost an hour for our food while others that order after us got to eat. Once one of our items arrived the taco salad was burnt and not properly made. Left dissappointed and hungry.

Great food, great service. We love ordering the chicken or beef nachos. It's a lot of food for a good price.

Great Fajitas! I don't know what others are saying about bland.....the free salsa served with chips as you arrive was very flavorful. The service was friendly and super fast, even though the restaurant was completely full. We will be back again!!
